The Fisherman Supply Co Salted Berley Log is like your classic frozen berley block — but shelf-stable, easier to store, and made from real fish, not fillers. These salted berley logs are made with 70% New Zealand fish (blue mackerel and barracouta), ground and pressed into solid logs with just enough grain binder to hold their shape.

Designed for fishers who want something reliable on board, without the drama of melting bait or freezer space. Use them whole or break off chunks — either way, they get the job done.

How to use:

Load straight into your berley pot or net and drop it over the side. The salt helps the log hold its form while slowly releasing scent in the water. Great for snapper, kahawai, gurnard and other bottom feeders. Best used when you’re setting up for a longer session or want to keep the trail going without constant top-ups.
