Hawke's Bay Fishing Competition Entry Ticket Kids (under 16)

The Last Cast Land Based Winter Kahawai Measuring Comp is a fishing competition open to all surfcasters in Hawke's Bay. It runs during the winter months, from June till August. Prizes are awarded for the biggest Kahawai. 

Kahawai are judged by length, not weight, so all you need to do is take a video of your catch using the official competition measure mat (included with your ticket) and upload the video to the Facebook group. Catch and release is entirely the angler’s choice.

Be sure to check the leaderboard regularly to see who’s in the running. Every fish entered is eligible for our weekly average prize so it's well worth entering plenty of catches.
